During this past month, our work has largely involved our long-term clients and partners, as well as some exciting new developments to our service portfolio.

Consultancy comes in many forms, and we tune the exact service we deliver to the unique needs of each client. One form of support we offer to our clients, which has proven to be very popular, is assistance during external audits. We cannot conduct the external audit for our clients as this would present a conflict of interest. However, we can be on hand to support the client as the are audited by another external organisation. This means we can help the client in responding to the auditors questions, explaining elements of their organisation in relation to the standards and justifying any clause exclusions, amongst a range of things. By doing this, a lot of stress is relieved from the client, and their lovely fingernails are spared.

This is what we provided this month for a long-term client who specialises in the manufacture of laboratory technology. We’re glad to say that the ISO 9001 recertification audit went off without a hitch meaning the organisation is still on track to retain its ISO 9001 accreditation. We were never in doubt!

Our work on behalf of cert body NQA has continued. In past months we have provided an abundance of training for NQA and this has continued in May 2025. Namely, we provided multiple IMS courses, each lasting two days. One of these was specifically for staff at BGB New Energy in Taiwan – the early start was made worth it thanks to the great delegates. We also provided a course for staff at P&O Ferries, amongst other delegates.

Sheard Packaging have been a feature of these activity updates for a while now, with them being one of our most long-term clients. We continued our work with Sheard Packaging this past month, carrying out multiple internal audits across quality, environmental and health and safety management areas. As ever, we look forward to our continuing work with Sheard in the future as we further cultivate their esteemed QHSE management system.

A frequent obstacle for many up-and-coming small organisations who are looking to bolster their QHSE management and ISO compliance is the time cost – in the heat of the start-up environment, these organisations frequently struggle to squeeze in any time for face-to-face consultancy or training.
